JP-Set Ltd’s roots go back to 1982, and the expertise of the on-demand machine shop has developed over decades of experience. This guarantees customers high quality and accurately implemented solutions for various industrial needs.

JP-Set Ltd specialises in stainless steel processing and welding, offering high quality and durable solutions and subcontracting services for industrial needs. The company’s core competencies are concentrated in the modern factory in Silvola Finland, where innovative technology and decades of expertise combine to produce the best possible quality.

History and development

JP-Set Ltd was established in 1982 when Timo Partanen and Jorma Piepponen founded Silvola Konepaja Oy. Originally a two-man company, it has grown through many stages into an industrial group employing 25 people in Silvola, near Savonlinna Finland. The company’s operations and products are continuously developed with ecology and sustainability in mind.

In 2022, JP-Set Ltd became a subsidiary of Ykköskaide Oy, and as a result, Ykköskaide has invested significantly in the energy efficiency and production capacity of Silvola’s production facilities.
